John 3:16: A Critique

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Anyone who is even remotely familiar with the Christian beliefs know of the death of
J.C. to save us all from our sins! It's a truly wonderful idea, unfortunately it's a pretty
damn pitiful belief with very few benefits when closely examined.

The whole idea here begins with Humans being naturally "sinful" creatures. We chose
to be sinful after the whole Adam/fruit scandal. God got pissed because his creations
weren't perfect and threw a tempertantrum. God screwed up and made us imperfect
and now were are unable to control our sinful nature. Please tell me you can see the
    obvious hole in this belief?

Anyway, because god is so incompetent Humans were automatically sent to Hell for
their sins, man that must suck, since it's the fault of two naked fruit-munching sinners a
few thousand years back! Imagine all those people who went to Hell.. it's a lot! Well,
after a good long thinking, god decided we had suffered enough, lucky us huh? So to
make it all better, he sent his son Jesus (who is essentially himself in disguise) to
earth. A lot of talk about loving god (kinda egotistical I think, but what about the
Christian god IS'NT egotistical?) went on and then because of his being a threat to the
roman empire, he was sentenced to death, a fairly common occurrence for political
terrorists, since his ideas were a pretty major threat to the stability of the empire and
    all.

He had some torture and a little booing, nothing big for a supernatural deity who just
so happened to be the f*cking son of an all-powerful god! I mean damn, if he could
heal the sick, make the blind see, raise the dead, and walk on water (not to mention
tons of other wonderful tricks), you'd think he could easily lessen the pain of a little
torture, right? And it wasn't very long at all, only a few hours of it, then a short stay in
Hell, for a total of less than four days of discomfort! That pales in comparison to those
who were sentenced to eternity in Hell!

And to top it all of, he got placed in the second highest position in Heaven, what
gives? I see no giving to Humans here, it seems more like a little initiation that Jesus
went through to get into Heaven. I fail to see how someone dying makes up for all my
screw-ups? Please explain this one, I just don't get it! I have a feeling this whole
concept was created to simply ease the consciences of the believers so they felt it was
ok to sin now. Since they could now confess their sins and be forgiven, what a relief
    that must have been.

If you look at it from my viewpoint, this whole messy business could have been easily
been avoided if god weren't so incompetent and was actually able to make a perfect
person. If he truly wanted to make it up to us, he could banish himself to Hell and
suffer for eternity, then it would be a little more fair I think. Don't you agree?
